What was your inspiration?
I have made some new friends at Sew Nice, the store where my finished designs are on display and I sell the patterns for the same. One of these new friends had asked if I ever thought about doing a Magnolia, her favorite flower. I too love to see Magnolia trees in full bloom, I only wish that their flowers lasted a lot longer than they do; it seems that the tree just finishes blooming and then all the pedals fall to the ground.
This was my inspiration for Magnolia and my own way of keeping those blossoms around for a very long time.
What are you most proud of?
Designing a pattern that gives you a choice to frame your completed piece (framing instructions included in pattern) or finish by quilting it with backing of your choice.
