What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If you can't find the exact items you want, improvise. I couldn't find an inital in the style I wanted without spending an exorbitant amount of money, so I glued rhinestones on the "B" myself. I added some feathers and loved the look. Most important, get inspired and have fun!
