Here are some details about my project:
Category Sewing
Type Clothing
Sizing Girls
Style Cute, Traditional on

What materials did you use? Cotton print for the body and solid for the yoke. I was going to use a wood button, but the button loop is smaller than I thought it would be. on

What are you most proud of? That it came out great. I haven't sewn a garment in SO many years and I'm still not the best seamstress (my mom was a very talented seamstress) and my mom is no longer here to help me out of those little jams that you can easily get into. on

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to ask for help from the instructor/class. Take your time and replay the video if needed. There aren't too many pieces and sundress is easy to make. I had fun picking the fabric, you will too. on

Oh so sweet!!

I just made a play top for Mae using the rompter top pattern. I widened the straps and did not use a button on the front. It came out a little bit tighter than her sundress, so the next one I make I'll use a smaller seam allowance.
