What materials did you use? Moda's Amelia charm packs

What are you most proud of? The way I placed the cornerstones. All are pink, purple or green, and placed diagonally to the same color. Subtle pattern only I will ever notice!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I removed the black and white charms - I thought they didn't fit the character of the quilt. Now, what to do with the remaining blocks?!

I'm making the same kind of quilt for my great nephew. But I used brown for all the middle blocks, so all the diagonals together make brown "bows"

I want to do that - use the same fabric for all the center of nine patchs. And I think I would like to cut 6" strips, piece them to make the nine- patch. It would require buying yardage in probably 18 fabrics - don't know. I haven't worked that our yet.

So pretty in pink. I love the simplicity of design, too.

and the blocks are easy. placement is "creative".

I will post a picture when it's done. I bought a layer cake from Connecting Threads, and coordinating brown yardage. I cut the 10" squares into 4 5" squares, and 5" squares from the yardage.

good idea and very efficient use of the layer cake - with all coordinating fabrics.

You have remaining blocks? Make a stuffed toy or pillow!
