Instructions

STEP 1: Cut the sleeves and collar off the dress shirt.
STEP 2: Cut straight across the top of the shirt, 3″ (7.6 cm) above the pockets.
STEP 3: Sew up the armhole (becomes the skirt side seam).
STEP 4: Finish the top raw edge of the shirt. You can serge or use a zig-zag stitch.
STEP 5: Fold down 1″ (2.5 cm) from the top and press to make a crease.
