|Here are some details about my project:|
|Yarn Weight||Aran (10 ply), Worsted (10 ply)|
|Sizing||Women, Girls, Other, Petite|
|Style||Classic, Preppy, Cute, Casual, Geeky, Hipster, Traditional|
What materials did you use? Vickie Howel "Sheep(ish)" yarn (Aran weight) - 145 yards in Turquoise(ish), 22 yards in Robin Egg (ish), Double Pointed Needles: Size 5 & 7 (US). This pattern would also work well with worsted weight yarn.
What are you most proud of? I am thrilled that my teenage daughter WANTS to wear this hat every day!
What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you know how to knit in the round on double pointed needles this is a very easy project. The Vickie Howel "Sheep(ish)" yarn is very inexpensive...a good yarn for the money! Buy two coordinating colors and you can make two hats....just reverse the colors!
