I made this for a birthday present. The design is very simple and takes about 15 minutes, plus however long it takes you to do the finishing. What was your inspiration?
I've resolved to restart crafting and make rather than buy gifts this year. When I saw the video (link featured in the instructions above), it was just a kick in the right place to get started because it was so simple.
What are you most proud of?
At how good this looks (even though I say so myself!). Also, I'm hoping my friend who this is for will be happy with it, and that's going to make me even happier.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use black nylon yarn instead of lighter colours. I got some ugly blackish marks where I used a cigarette lighter to fuse the edges.
