What color thread did you use for your quilting? My BOM is also a black background and the blocks are very colorful and bright like yours.

I tried out a few. I am new to all this, tried Plain Black, but quickly gave up. My favourite turned out to be Madeira FS No.20 - Metallic, Black Pearl. I also tried Madeira Rayon when I wanted a real contrast, and Superior Threads Rainbows. I look forward to seeing yours.

I just started the 2012 BOM in late December and I just finished May's blocks. It's quite addicting after finishing one block and wanting to work on the next ones.

Wow! The black backgrounds and sashing make the colors pop like neon signs. Excellent job!

This really jumps out off the computer screen and shows just how effective a black background can be! Well done - it's great!

Love your bright color choices and the black background.
