What materials did you use? I used 100% cream cotton. 3yd tone on tone. 1yd green, 16in red, 1and4/5yd batting 1and4/5 Backing fabric. All the machine embroidery was a combination of Janome Embroidery threads which are 100% Acrilic and Madeira which is 100% viscose. The designs each took approx. 70-90mins each and the centre design is in 5 parts. These were from 2 discs by Micnali-Designs. This quilt was my first attempt, and I had lessons. It took me just over a year to complete, (with lots of unpicking). Finished size 58in x 83in. Turned out a little larger.

Thanks everyone, but I have still got the biggest hurdle to jump....that is the Digitizer. I have signed up, and if time permits I will stop putting it in the "too hard basket".

Hi HelgaS I am glad that my one and only quilt has inspired you. It seemed to take forever. If it taught me one thing it was "PATIENCE". If I can do it you can do it!! Looking forward to seeing your finished product.
