What materials did you use? Cotton scraps, embroidery thread and quilt batting were the main items used for these pin cushions.

This is very creative! What a great idea for using scraps!

Just wondering if I would have to take the class to learn how to make the cute pincushion? Would you happen to have the template and instructions for purchase. If so, would you be so kind as to let me know. Thank you. :)

The pin cushion pattern comes from a book by the person who taught the Machine Embroidered Quilt class (Eileen Roche). I found the book at a local Joann Fabric store. The name of the book is Machine Embroidered Quilts and Applique.

I just ordered the book, does it provide the information to make the one that you show here?

It does indeed provide all the information required for this pin cushion. Your imagination from there will provide all the creative power you'll need to fill your living space with a variety of these little gems.
