Your designs are beautiful and it was a great idea to put them to good use.

Thank you. Practice, Practice. Every feather is different. I nice to know they do not have be uniform, but fluid with varying shapes. There is freedom in knowing each one is unique.

Hi Cindy, Thank you. Well, I guess new is relative. I have been FMQ(mostly meander all over kind) for a couple of years. A year ago, I decided I needed to learn more designs and feathers, so I have been practicing ever since. After visiting your website and looking at the amazing projects posted here, I feel like a beginner. Thanks for taking time to comment. I appreciate your encouragment.

Hi Pat, Thanks! I love the creative process. Sometimes it is slow, but that is okay. Sometimes it is good to let things "marinate". lol I have had those pieces for a while and did not know what to do with them.

How clever! What a great way to practice FMQ and not feel like you're wasting fabric.

Hi! I guess I could start thinking about some other functional things I can make with practice pieces.
