Instructions

I just added the newest of my creations, "Paris" made for my sister for Christmas! Lots of new pictures on my website! All Step-by-step instructions and additional photos are on the website. FREE TUTORIAL!

Difficulty:

Category: Paper Crafts

Type of item: Functional

For: Women

Style: Mod, Romantic, Cute, Whimsical, Traditional

Materials

Brown Lunch bags, card board, Scrapbook paper, glue, scrapbook embellishments

What was your inspiration?

About 15 years ago I remember making a cute little book from paper bags. With all the new products on the market for scrapbooking, I thought I'd try to put something more up-to-date together and voila!

What are you most proud of?

Writing the instructions and taking the photos was a challenge and I'm pretty proud of the final presentation.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just take it step-by-step. Remember, you will probably end up with a work of art. Also (and important) if you just buy a PAD of scrapbook paper, the entire book will be coordinated - no worrying about whether this print goes with that print!

Thanks for this tip. It'll help me to take care of my travel ephemeras - aka - tickets, sugar packets, little ice cream spoon, coins, a leftover note of a foreign currancy...

Beautiful, I love the paper that you chose and the embellishments. I don't usually like bag books but I think I will make this one

I made a few of these last year. A Christmas one and a Halloween one. I love making these! They do make for quick and inexpensive gifts. I love how you added the feathers with the flowers! Very cute! Thanks for sharing!
