I changed the dimensions slightly & used a different method for creating the handle, which I think is easier & quicker (no turning required). I cut the strap 2" wide, fold the width in half w/right sides out & press. Then press each long edge in to meet the center fold line & press, then press the strap again once all edges are pressed in. What advice would you give someone starting this project?
As mentioned in the original pattern post, using a roller foot and/or using masking tape to hold the vinyl in place is helpful. I used a commercial machine & a teflon foot & didn't have any problem sewing the vinyl.
