Embroidery floss on wool felt.
What was your inspiration?
A good friend of mine drew this image for a project we were working on together. I embroidered it. We're from Whatcom County in Washington state and agree it's one of the greatest places to live. The piece was photographed for the project. Now it's framed and hangs on my wall.
What are you most proud of?
I love the color combo of all the different shades of floss on the brillant red.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It's super easy to find books and tutorials on-line to get started if you haven't embroidered before.
