Lucky, the Dog

Lucky, the Dog

Instructions

What are you most proud of?

My husband seemed to like the Father's Day present and keeps it on his dresser. I really like to decoupage, that is 'my way'. I assemble items with a certain subject in mind and then 'decoupage' into a whole project, you might say.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Think the project through thoroughly from start to finish, first. Make sure have all items with you when starting project. Nice to be doing a project based on something you really care about. I am a novice with decoupage and like to sometimes slather 'it' on and have even.used my own recipe of water to glue conglomeration. I am now educating myself more on the subject but what I have done so far looks acceptable. Obviously no runs and drips allowed on projects of decoupage, be tidy. No excessively shiney surfaces for me.
