Turquoise rice beads, coral jade rice beads, Lapis Lazuli round beads, brass spacers, Tibetan Handmade Turquoise & Coral Brass Accent beads and Tibetan Brass Elephant Pendant. Beadalon beading wire with brass lobster clasp and findings. Earrings: Vermeil fan post earrings.
What was your inspiration?
My sweet daughter-in-law collects elephants, but they must have upraised trunks to catch and hold good luck. I saw this pendant and knew I must make a special necklace around it for her birthday.
What are you most proud of?
That I could make her a gift that expresses my love and affection.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
For me this was a labor of love. I don't know if I would have had the patience to work it out without that modivation.
