LSU Teen Quilt

This project was designed by BeckeeCarrier.
Info can be found at:

LSU block party

Instructions

I used 8 1/2" logo squares and an 8 1/2" pieced block.
The fabrics were different purples and gold prints that I collected and chose the hues that matched the best.
I used a flat bed sheet for the backing.
This one was made to fit a full size bed with a 17" drop, hence the extra borders on all sides.

What are you most proud of?

Being able to use so many different prints in one quilt.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Learn how flannel and cotton blends work together in one project.

It really makes the room without going overboard. I'm saving this in my favorites folder. Thanks.

Very nice. A quilt that any Tigers fan would love. Love the matching pillows too. I have two great-nieces heading off the college next fall. I was trying to come up with an idea for H.S. grad. gifts. Your quilt is my inspiration! Well done.

The matching pillows were an after-effect my sister did for his bedroom, and they work great.

This pattern was really easy to do. I even got a couple set in backwards and I didn't even notice until I posted this.
