The thin slashing works well to repeat the lines in your black and white sticks fabric. There is the feeling of looking out the window on a snowy winter morning

So glad you got the "window" feel from this. I am thinking that a black frame....a bit wider than the sashing, would be a good idea.

Thanks so much. I have started my stitching....I do a lot of hand stitching so it probably will take me forever - but it is so much fun. :)
