What was your inspiration?

My Son-in-law is at Army Reserves Basic training, and my daughter is at home with their two young boys. So before he left I got outlines of all their hand prints. It gave me a chance to think about and pray for all of them.

What are you most proud of?

That I got it done in time for Valentines day. And that my 2 year old grandson was very excited to put his hand on all of the hand prints and tell whose they are.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I didn't follow the pattern as written. The pattern was for wall hangings and pillows. My daughter has a couch table that I wanted it to fit on, so I used the pattern as a starting point.

Thanks! Another handprint thing I did about a year ago, was a reindeer. You trace their shoe, that makes the face, then you use the hand prints for the antlers. I was very cute. The instructions I used from that suggested you make a placemate.
