What materials did you use? I did this improv pod quilt for a challenge from the Missouri Star Quilt Co. We had to use the "Lovely" charm pack which, by the way, I did not like nor is the fabric my style. I wanted to do something modern with it and thought this would be a great way to use that fabric. The pods are framed with a green Kona cotton, the black negative space/background is a Bella solid and the back of the quilt is a purplish (don't remember the color) cotton.

What are you most proud of? Elizabeth teaches this block using strips of fabric. I had to work with charm squares and use EACH print in the pack, so this made it a little more challenging for me, but it worked out.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just follow Elizabeth's easy instructions in her class and it was very simple to do. As she instructed, make your frames a little larger so that when you square them up you have some room to trim.
