What materials did you use? Fabrics from my stash and some presents from family

The design is Easy Street by Bonnie Hunter, I quilted it in panels starting with the centre panel and adding each side, as it was so big. I gave it to my eldest daughter on her engagement last year. Despite being very organised (!?) I lost or miscounted some of the 4-square blocks and made more than I needed so decided to use them on the back. Also there were some teeny tiny triangles that I couldnt bear to dump so hand sewed them into mini pinwheels. I am working on a Turning Twenty quilt at the moment and intend to quilt as you go adding a panel of the leftover fabrics also as I like the effect and this technique. I have a number of machines but mainly use my Janome 6500.

What a lovely engagement gift. I laughed when you said you made too many blocks, I've been known to not make enough.
