What was your inspiration?
My inspiration was the cotton solids I was trying to use up. I tend to use mostly prints that read as solids as the "tamer" fabrics in most projects these days rather than actual solids, but I still had a lot of solids that had been in my stash for decades. So I just thought I'd do a simple large block quilt top for charity. The blocks are 20" squares and the quilt about 60x80.
The quilt top was donated to a local church group that completed it for shipment to world relief efforts.
