This is my original Lilac Cardi. Even though it's cotton, the yarn is thick so here in Kauai I can only wear it in the winter, & when it's chilly enough to wear then it needs long sleeves. They were easy to add, picking up the back loops to create a design element of a ridge to separate the lace caps from the rest of the sleeves. I love it even more now & am wearing it a lot.

It's beautiful. I really didn't think it would work in cotton. How wrong was I? Darn, I'll have to make another. Such a lovely colour too.

I love it even in this "kitchen" cotton, but in a good quality cotton yarn it's really great.
