What materials did you use? Acrylic yarn, Loops and Threads Payette

What are you most proud of? That I stuck with it, and learned so many new ideas. I used to be afraid of lace, now I'm so much more confident.

Great job - this is beautiful!

Beautiful! How long did it take you? And what yarn are you using

It took a couple of weeks, a couple of hours per day. I did a LOT of ripping back!! Strongly recommend using lifelines! The yarn was from Michaels, it's by Loops and Threads, called Payette.

Wow! It's beautiful! You've really inspired me! I just signed up for the class today & I hope that my projects turn out half as well as yours!!

Thank you! It sure was a learning experience for me. Just go slow and use those lifelines! Christine

You were able to make this beautiful scarf with an acrylic yarn? I have been doing the course, swatching with acrylic and couldn't get any if them to stretch properly. Your scarf is stunning. I'm almost ready to start mine. I'm quite anxious.

It took some serious blocking to stop the scarf from coiling. I soaked it in almost hot water, pinned it out like Eunny shows. Then steamed it with an iron, patting it down with my hands. Then let it sit for a couple of days! Finally, it got the message! If I were going to make it again, I'd use a good quality wool or wool/silk yarn.
