Purple Agate Druzy Pendant, Purple bead mix of pearls, glass and amethyst chips, 3 different types of chain (good use for leftovers), gold crystal rondelles, purple Swarovski faceted rice beads strung with purple seed bead mix.
What was your inspiration?
I purchased a surprise bead grag bag, and it was full of purple beads! The pendant was in my stash.
What are you most proud of?
I love how the handmade bail turned out. The color and thickness of the wire is perfect against the pendant. I also like the balance of the different chains. The design is claspless, so make it long enough to go over your head.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't get too hung up on symmetry when trying to create a multiple chain design, but balance in your design is still important. If you have too many heavy things on one side and not on the other, it won't hang right.
