What materials did you use? cotton fabrics, low loft batting, and calico backing. stitched in the ditch around the star centre and greens. then meandering stitch from point to point in the centre with green cotton. Meandering stitch between star and border. quilted the inverted star motif in the corners. also in green

Lovely pointy bits, Caraline - was it difficult to do? It looks as thought it might have been! Oh yes - I see you gave it four blobs! Well done you!

Thanks Patricia, truthfully....I sewed the first one perfect, then got a bit (smartypants) then did the next one ripped it out, got it right, next one perfect, etc all the way through, so doesnt pay to be too smarty pants with this one, just take your time to get your points in the right place. It was a challenge worth doing though.

Oh the blobs, thought while it wasnt difficult well to difficult, someone with little knowledge might find it hard to do, so I felt one or two blos didnt quite cut it. didnt want to give anyone a false sense that it was easy. Because the points are on an angle it is harder to get them in the right place.
