What was your inspiration?
My inspiration was a quilting book published in Japan and in Japanese called LOG CABIN. The images in the book are incredible, but I don't read Japanese. After many inquiries and conversations with friends who quilt, I decided to go it alone and make the quilt just using the photo from the book and suggestions from others.
What are you most proud of?
I think this quilt is a great success visually. I catch others looking at it and trying to figure out how it was accomplished, much as I did for many months before attemping to make the quilt myself.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
READ the tutorial I have created multiple times, talk to others more experienced than youself, and send Arras an email. I'd be happy to explain in depth anything that isn't clear. arras.studio@comcast.net
