What was your inspiration?
With this version of the log cabin block, two sides have wide stips and the other two sides have more narrow strips. This forms the circle effect, which was what attracted me to the pattern. I love creating a round or curved effect with only straight lines.
What are you most proud of?
I am pleased with the graphic quality of the results.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Pillows are the easiest way to try out a pattern and still get a functional finished product. It's great to be able to make something without a huge committment of time or fabrics. If you find you don't enjoy the process, no problem.
