What was your inspiration?

My daughter loved the picture, and wanted me to try it. My first real try at stranded color work. The first one took about a week, the second 3 days!! LOVE the attached I-cord binding.

What are you most proud of?

My first try at stranded color work, and applied I cord. i think they came out well! I lined the first one, wool too itchy for my daughter!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be sure to stretch your previous stitches out on the needle so that the carries do not cause bunching of the fabric in front. I used small lengths of each color on little plastic spools that Knit Picks sells. Worked great. Dark color on the bottom- and light on the top= no tangles!!
