What was your inspiration?
The copper cabochon and the leaf was where I started when creating this piece.
What are you most proud of?
I love how the faux patina turned out on the leaf. It started out as a black leaf; then I (1) sanded it with an emery board to bring out the veins in the leaf; (2) pressed the leaf into a sage green stamp pad; and (3) pressed the edges only into a gold stamp pad. LOVE how it turned out.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Look in the scrapbooking section for some of your materials.
