Materials

I used a 50/50 wool/acrylic yarn that I found in Ireland while visiting my family last month.

What was your inspiration?

I was going nuts with no project while in Ireland last month. You can't drink Guinness and NOT knit. So, with my love of Valentine's Day (because I love red and pink), I decided to grab some purple and chartreuse and make a little dress. There's a matching cardigan for it, too!

What are you most proud of?

No dropped stitches while drinking Guinness. I'm also proud that out of 3 skeins of yarn I made a sweater and a dress.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make setting in sleeves FUN. Watch a Youtube video on how to do it if you don't know, put on some Veronica Mars episodes (free on the WB) get some chocolate and you will love the process. It's actually meditative with the right attitude!
