What was your inspiration?
I've seen a lot of crocheted angels and wanted to create some of my own for ornaments that were quick and easy to make.
What are you most proud of?
I have a stash of beads, ribbons, etc. from other projects and it was fun coming up with different ways to decorate each of the angels!
The angels can be more than tree ornaments, they would be great gift embellishments or even hung in a line on the wall for decor.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a great project to use up scrap thread, beads and ribbons! All the angels are started in the round with the head and halo, then worked in back and forth rows for the wings and dress.
The finished sizes vary from 2-1/2 to 3-1/4" tall and 2-1/2" to 4" wide.
This pattern is available for $3.00 and is written in U.S. terms.
