What was your inspiration?

The design of the pattern for this lion was inspired by the wool.

The wool used for the lion has been spun from the fleece of sheep farmed in the Elwy Valley in Wales.

The colour is just right for a lion.

I love crocheting the loop stitch which was perfect for the lion's mane.

What are you most proud of?

I didn't make this lion from a pattern, instead he kind of evolved! I need to make another one now and write down the pattern!
