What advice would you give someone starting this project? Unless you are fairly experienced, watch the video and be guided by Janet for each step. Be willing to redo if you're learning. Find a fabric you love and go for it!

Great Jacket! I was also thinking of trying this in a linen - was yours a heavy weight or midweight? I am guessing more midweight since you made a dress from it as well. What kind of interfacing did you use? I was worried the interfacing might make it a bit stiff, when the rest of the linen is so drapey. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Jenjlair. Yes. It was a midweight linen. The interfacing was lightweight fusible. I loved the linen fabric and I encourage you to try linen too.
