What materials did you use? White polyester crinkled satin from TexStyles Designer Fabric Showroom in Austin, TX. Buttons from Fabrique Fabrics in Plano, TX

What are you most proud of? The mitered corners (thanks for those wonderful instructions). Also, that no one thinks this top was hand-make. And that I found the perfect buttons to really dress it up.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? TAKE THE CLASS! Also, I would advice making a muslin first. I didn't and the shoulders are little too broad for me. To solve that issue, I made small shoulder pads to fill out the shoulders. Now it's perfect.

Having seen this gorgeous creation in person, I can attest to how beautiful it turned out. You and your excellent work are an inspiration for all sewers Cheryl! I hope to enroll in this class soon.

stunning. I like the addition of the shoulder pads. Gives it a little more tailored look. Really nice!

Thank you, pcampbell. I hadn't actually planned to put the shoulder pads in. I made this before I knew enough about fitting to know that you fit the shoulders first and do a full bust adjustment if necessary. The fit still isn't perfect, but the pads do help.
