Stash yarn, not sure what they were since the labels were gone but I'm pretty sure one was Impeccable by Loops and Threads.
What was your inspiration?
My cousin had a baby girl and I wanted to make her a fun toy.
What are you most proud of?
Making it work with leftover yarn that I had in my stash even though probably not the most practical choices.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Do not close the CO hole for the body until the very last thing that was if you decide you want to add a little more to the body after it has settled a little bit, it is much easier to do. Same goes for the head - don't close it up until you are about to put on the mane.
For the spots, I made half following the pattern exactly then I made half smaller by omitting the last increase and the respective decrease. I think it looks much cuter (See my Maynard the Giraffe project for good photos of that)
