What materials did you use? Colored wire, crystal drop beads, round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers, wire cutters, cup burr, silver ear wires

What are you most proud of? I tried them first in very light-gauge wire, maybe 26, and used red stone chips of irregular size and shape. Basically I wanted to make sure I could do everything I needed to do in the scale required (i.e. small), and I was so pleased with the way they turned out that I didn't get around to making the earrings in the proper gauge for several months. I had to hammer the lighter gauge wire a bit to keep its shape. On these blue ones, that wasn't necessary. I was happy that I had drops in the right color. The photo isn't the best, but I rather like the contrast between the bright silver and the blue wire.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Perfect your techniques before you start the final project. If you can't make a wrapped loop, it will really show on this project because you have to make 4 of them per earring. Also, don't get carried away on the zig-zag component. A suggestion is all that's needed, not a full lightning bolt.
