Liberty Shirt Take 2

Off White Silk

Off White Silk

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Sewing With Silks: The Liberty Shirt »

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Classic, Traditional

Materials

100% silk from my stash (yay)

What was your inspiration?

I had made the Liberty pattern up in emerald silk and loved the fit and style, so looked in my stash and found more silk!!

What are you most proud of?

The design and the silk looks great- plus I'm using my stash, you know what that means! The shirt has been lined in the same fabric, and I shortened the sleeves to 3/4 for our summer.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Such an easy class - take advantage and learn

The shirt looks wonderful! I love the creamy color. What kind of silk is it?

It is a silk given to me by a friend about five years ago, and it suited the Liberty Shirt pattern
