Lexi's Holiday Hat and Mary Janes

Hi. Lexi has the hat out in the country so I am just guessing but I think it was just make a magic circle (check youtube for instruction video if you don't know how to make a magic circle) Make 6 hdc in magic circle. Join with a ss. rnd 2. ch i do 2 hdc in each stitch (12 hdc) join with ss. rnd 3. ch i 2 hdc in each stitch (24 hdc) join with ss. rnd 4 ch 1 *1 hdc in stitch, 2 hdc in next stitch* repeat *-* around (36 hdc) join with ss. rnd 5 ch 1 *1 hdc in first stitch, 1 hdc in next stitch, 2 hdc in next stitch* repeat from *-* around (48 hdc) join with ss. next several rnds ch 1, i hdc in each stitch around (48 hdc) join with slip stitch. I'm not sure how many even rounds I did but if you have access to a new babe just do some try ons. On the row before I thought it was about to be long enough I did the even row in dc instead of hdc. This gave me slightly larger stitches to thread th green chain through. The last row is a white furry novelty yarn, not sure what kind, but I single crocheted all around using two strands held together. The green chain was at least 80 chains long, maybe even 120, I can't remember. Just make sure it is long enough to thread through loosely and tye a bow. I sewed store bought pom poms on each end. That's it! Easy peasy. Oh, and the yarn was a red sparkle. How these instructions help!
