What are you most proud of? I actually slipped when cutting diagonally through the strips, yikes!! - but turns out i repaired it well enough that I couldn't even find where the stitches are. Whew!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be extra careful when cutting and go as close as you can to the selvages when putting the pieces together - you're gonna need every single scrap if you want to do the border!

Love the accent with the black parts - it just looks great!

Intimidating to look at as a new quilter...but it draws you in! Very beautiful...I love batiks! Your choice of colors is wonderful.

I've only been quilting for about 6 months... so I recommend it for beginners! Just be careful when cutting. And thank you!

While I appreciate the work etc. in scrappy and stripped quilts (I have taken a couple of Craftsy courses) I was always fearful of "wasting fabric" because I might not like the end result. I've done only a couple of blocks, not a quilt. Your quilt really really inspires me to make the leap. Gorgeous.
