Let It Snow Quilt

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Instructions

I made a smaller version of the class quilt. My quilt measures 44 X 56. I used Ann Petersen's method to machine quilt one block at a time before joining them.
I'm using the remaining blocks for placemats. I'll post them when I'm finished.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Cute, Holiday

Materials

fabric, thread, batting, rulers, rotary cutter,

What was your inspiration?

To Learn New Quilting Techniques in a fun, entertaining way.

What are you most proud of?

I called this my ugly quilt while I was working on it. Since it is finished, I love it and think it is very cute. I am proud of the free motion quilting. Don't look for mistakes because you'll find too many.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make sure all blocks are squared to 12 1/2 inches.

Your quilt is Wonderful and it will be a real treat to see what you have as place mats. You should be very proud of your creation. I really, really like it. Beautifully done, front & back. Thank you so much for sharing. :-)
