Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. I revised the drawing based on teacher's comments. I changed the direction of the path, using the Albertian Veil. Also gave tone or shade to sky and grasses.

Hello lmfr, Congratulations on the revision of the first lesson. This drawing is an improvement over the first. The tonal structure in this one contributes to the viewer's awareness and appreciation of the pictorial space. You may want to consider thinking in general tones first when you start the shading. One thing that may help you in the analysis of tonal comparison is to take a photographic image of the scene and format it in black & white. The reason I am suggesting this is that as regards tonal structure is that 1. The path and the lawn to its immediate right seems separate from the rest of the ground; and, 2. The trees and buildings are not quite convincing in their atmospheric qualities. In another words, they have form projection but those forms are not situated in an illusionistic space. That being said, this is a very good revision. You have posted the next assignment and I look forward to seeing and commenting on that.
