What materials did you use? Malabrigo Worsted is an incredibly soft 100% Merino wool. I love to knit with Malabrigo Worsted Yarn. Although the softness is amazing this is not the best yarn for durability as is the case with most single ply merino yarns. I have knitted several projects with this yarn and it pills really bad. I feel when I put all the time and effort into knitting a sweater, and I wear it 2 times and it looks like crap that I will never knit with this yarn. Yes, I use my old sweaters in the house instead of turning on the heat. I would not wear my knits in public with all the pilling it is not attractive.

I have been taking another wonderful class called ?Advanced RH Weaving? through craftsy.com with Deborah Jarchow. Deborah is beyond awesome. I had another DVD with Jane Patrick and did not like the way she taught the advanced RH Class. Deborah totally spoke my language and she is the Best teacher. Then again, Craftsy always gets the best teachers. My goal was to learn Leno Stitch and how to use Pick Up Sticks. Both were met with a scarf and small project bag. Details are explained below The Fabric is 9? wide. The scarf is 72? long. The project bag is about 2 feet long. I fulled the fabric to get the warp and weft to even out. I also crochet around the edge to even out the leno pattern. 8 Dent Reed Inches Inches Warp Weft Total Yardage 1040 8320 231.1111111 161.7777778 392.8888889 PROJECT BAG Pick up sticks: Insert pattern stick in following pattern for samples 1-3: 2 down, 1 up, 1 down, 2 up, 2 down, 3 up, 3 down, 3 up, 2 down, 2 up, 1 down, 1 up, 1 down Sample 1 down up with pattern stick down up Sample 2 down up with pattern stick down up with pattern stick down up Sample 3 down up with pattern stick down up with pattern stick down up with pattern stick down up
