What are you most proud of? The fact that I took something that I didn't like and that I didn't think looked good and created something really fun and different; thus, the title lemons to lemonade.

I started out making a disappearing 9 patch for a baby quilt. When I had put it all up on the design board, I really didn't like it and thought it was busy and boring. After watching this class, I decided to cut up some of those blocks and add some other fabric and the gray background and had a blast doing it. So liberating! I quilted a lot of bubbles and then did some more intense quilting in the blocks.

Great job. I really love your bubble background. It gives the quilt wonderful life and dimension.

Wow fantastic! Great inspiration too!! And your quilting is amazing!!! Did you keep it or give it as the baby gift? I'd have a hard time parting with this one! :)

Thank you, Meredith! I'm giving it away. Many other projects in the works! I'm really loving the more modern quilts, it gives me lots of room to quilt in all that negative space.
