I just LOVE your Bears and the Puppies and the Kitties!!! I've made one of the bears, hoping to start my second this week. I do have a question please, I've looked at the yarn-paradise site and wondered if the quality is worth paying the shipping fees? I was going to purchase yarn from the site but the shipping was more than the cost of the yarn!! LOL.. I thought that was very strange.

I bought the yarn at www.yarn-paradise.com. It is shipped from Turkey but it arrives very quickly. The shipping is a little pricey but the yarn is so cheap that I have actually found it more economical to buy from this website than my local craft stores! Search for Kuka Supersoft fur on the website. They have a lot of color choices. The yarn is a little tricky to knit with but just take your time - the results are worth it.

EFerg, thank you very much. The color of Lemondrop is the same color as my little Maltese/Shi Tsu Dog. I'm very excited to get started.

Where can I buy the Kurka Yarn you used for Lemondrop? I love the color and I've searched the internet but can't seem to find any. I am ordering the pattern.

Love how you have changed the muzzle and paw pads to plain yarn. Makes a very pretty little bear :D

The pattern could be tackled by a fairly new knitter but not using this particular yarn. It is quite tricky to knit with as you can't see your stitches. I recommend trying the pattern with some fairly plain yarn first.

Awwwwwww I want one. If only I could knit. Do you list the exact materials used. And do you think a beginner could tackle this. What stitches were used if you don't mind my asking

@Gypsycream; where is the pattern available? I found your site, but do not see a free pattern. Also, I do not knit, is it available in crochet?

You can buy the pattern on Craftsy. Search for Huggable Bear by Gypsycream. She also has a pattern called Need a Hug bear, which is equally as good.
