What was your inspiration?
this is the fourth skirt i've done using this pattern but the first with a lining. i made it yesterday. first thing i have sewn since january! i'm a little rusty.
What are you most proud of?
doing a lining. was a little intimidated at first but it turned out to be super easy. i opted for the lining to be a lot shorter. with the kind of material i chose for this skirt & using a cotton lining, everything felt a little heavy. making it above the knees solved that. then i just zigzagged the edges of the lining to help prevent fraying. faster than hemming it:)
