What was your inspiration?
The new lego's that just came out with superman and batman. My son loved them right away! That was all he would talk about when I asked him what kind of cake he wanted for his 5th birthday.
What are you most proud of?
That I made everything myself in 3 1/2 days. The Lego guy's are my fav! I started with shaping them out of rice crispies and then covered then with frosting. Everything I have done with all my cakes has been self taught, but I love to challenge myself and see what I can accomplish next!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have a lot of sculpting tools before you start! This was a challenge for me! I did cover the crispies with chocolate before I covered them with fondant too smooth out the surface.
