This was made for my daughter's going to bootcamp party.
What was your inspiration?
...I just wanted to give her a fun cake. We've seen alot of the cakes with the edible printed emblem and ones with the dress blues... so I wanted to give her something original!!
What are you most proud of?
I like the boots... I did them with no pattern and had never done any shoe before. Although I know they could be much neater - people didn't know it was cake and wondered by I had boots on the table.. lol
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
...have a pattern for the boots! Like I said, I did these buy just throwing fondant on (etc) - and wish that I would have taken the time to make a pattern to make them better.
