I like this project I paint paintings and was thinking of painting on some fabric like this. Your cushion is great.

I love your leaf project. I love fall leaves and was thinking about trying some leaves. You have inspired me to go down that path. Beautiful!

Thank you! Now I wish I had made the two big leaves not look so much the same but something to think about for the next one of these I do.

The large design catches my eye, anything that grows is attractive to me. I love it.

Cool -- and I am *not* going to ask what a "couching foot" is... because I don't want my naievete to show, you know. ;-)

Don't feel bad - I had to look it up too. It's a foot with a big groove underneath so that thick threads, yarns or cords can be feed through & zigzagged over. So I go look for one & discover there are two of them available for my machines - regular couching foot & free motion couching foot - do I need both? If only I knew what to do with even one of them.

Thank you! I kind of wish I had taken Stupendous Stitching first - who knew I would want a couching foot (didn't have one)

Really neat design - I find it very restful - and I love the colors and embellishments you chose.

This is a beautiful and thoughtful design. I love the way you outlined the leaves in decorative machine stitching and the large scale is wonderful. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, but only one mistake - black fabric with white dog - bad combo

Thanks, Mo.sews - I do piecing on my Bernina 430 but the dec stitches were done on my Bernina 830 - it has a 9 mm stitch width so I can get some wide dec stitches. I also did a few free motion leaves ( green thread) to fill in some of the black background. It's a fun class - especially fun to use a seam ripper for something other than reverse sewing.
