What was your inspiration?
I found this cute button in my grandmother's collection and I thought how great it would be if I could incorporate it into one of my pieces. It turns out, it was just the perfect button for these lovely rosaline Druk beads!
What are you most proud of?
That I was able to knot the cording in the back of the button, in such a way so that it is a small knot and the bracelet will lay flat against your wrist.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
When you snip the ends of your beading thread, and you put on a drop of glue to secure them, to be careful not to glue the two leather cords together. It has happened to me in the past and it can ruin your entire project.
